Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Demogorgons of all ages! MDRN Mag can proudly say that Hopper is alive! He’s alive! And breathing! And not dead! Now I’m not saying I single handedly saved Hopper but…

There are more but some are a bit more on the aggressive side… They were worried i’ll kick their butts Eleven style. Which I totally would have if they didn’t bring Hopper back.

How do we know this? Well the people of Stranger Things decided to give the world the greatest Valentines Day gift ever!

Boom! So while you couples are out there enjoying your chocolates, roses and romantic dates, we’ll be over here binge watching Stranger Things because our man is alive!

Yes, they cut off his gorgeous locks of hair BUT a bald Hop is better than no Hop.

There’s no news yet of exactly when season 4 will drop… But we’re wishing, hoping and praying that it’s soon! We need it ASAP. Like tomorrow…today would be great too..ANYWAY

In light of this amazing news… There is only one gif to sum it all up.

Sabrina Brings Chills With A Musical Trailer For Pt 3

Ladies and gents, we’re headed back to Greendale with Sabrina. We’ve been dying to go back. And good for that, because by the looks of the trailer we’re headed straight to hell. After the shocking twist in the season two finale, we’ve been going crazy wondering what’s going to happen next.

From the trailer above, we can tell that we’ve barley (Nicholas) scratched the surface on the crazy stuff about to go down. In the song, Sabrina sings about saving her love (Nicholas) from the devil. And she’s willing to pay whatever price she has to pay.

Also seen in the trailer, we can see that there will be lots and lots of new spells to be cast and seances to be done… So our only question is this:

What spell can we use to make it January 24th already?

“You” Has Given Us Some Of The Best Memes

YOU has proved to be one of the greatest shows Netflix has produced… Kinda. YOU started off as a Lifetime series but was quickly canceled, Netflix then swooped in and saved the day.

Doubting how season 2 could be any better than 1, Netflix proved us all wrong and really stepped up the game. Now we all eagerly await season 3.

On top of being a great show… It created even better memes.

And the MDRN Mag personal fav that had us dying:

All The Netflix Original Films Planned For 2020 (So Far)

It’s obvious Netflix is killing it in the Netflix Originals department. And it doesn’t look like they’re slowing down any time soon. With sequels to fan favorites The Kissing Booth and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, 2020 will also see Chris Hemsworth, Chadwick Boseman, James Corden, Meryl Streep, and Will Ferrell star. We’ll also see an in-depth look at Taylor Swift‘s career, in addition to work from Ryan Murphy, and Michelle & Barack Obama. We have no choice but to stan. Here’s a list of everything coming to Netflix this year (so far)…

From director David Fincher, the story centers around the writing of Citizen Kane. Gary Oldman, Amanda Seyfried, Charles Dance, and Lily Collins star.

Mamoudou Athie, Courtney B. Vance, and Niecy Nash star in Prentice Penny’s feature directorial debut. Elijah (Athie) must balance his dream of becoming a master sommelier with his father’s expectations that he caries on the family’s Memphis BBQ joint.

Director Ben Wheatley‘s adaptation of Daphne du Maurier‘s novel (adapted by Hitchcock in 1940) follows a newly-married young woman (Lily James) who finds herself battling the shadow of her husband’s (Armie Hammer) dead first wife, the mysterious Rebecca.

Hillbilly Elegy

Amy Adams, Glenn Close, and Gabriel Basso star in director Ron Howard‘s adaptation of J.D. Vance‘s memoir of the same name, a modern exploration of the American Dream about three generations of an Appalachian family.

Da 5 Bloods

The latest Spike Lee joint follows four African American vets who return to Vietnam, searching for the remains of their fallen squad leader and the promise of buried treasure. Chadwick Boseman, Paul Walter Hauser, Norm Lewis, Delroy Lindo, and Jonathan Majors star.

The Boys In The Band

From producer Ryan Murphy, Joe Mantello‘s adaptation of the play follows a group of gay friends who reunite to celebrate one of their birthdays. When the host’s potentially closeted college roommate shows up uninvited, the evening is thrown into turmoil.

To All The Boys: P.S. I Love You

Lara Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter (Noah Centineo) have just taken their romance from pretend to officially real in the when another recipient (Jordan Fisher) of one of her love letters enters the picture.

When aspiring musicians Lars (Will Ferrell) and Sigrit (Rachel McAdams) are given the opportunity of a lifetime to represent their country at the world’s biggest song competition, they finally have a chance to prove that any dream is a dream worth fighting for.

I’m Thinking Of Ending Things

A road trip becomes a twisted mix of palpable tension, psychological frailty, and sheer terror in the latest from Charlie Kaufman, starring Jesse Plemons, Jessie Buckley, Toni Collette, and David Thewlis.

All The Bright Places

Based on the novel by Jennifer Niven, Brett Haley‘s adaptation tells the story of Violet Markey (Elle Fanning) and Theodore Finch (Justice Smith), who meet and change each other’s lives forever.

The Last Thing He Wanted

In this Joan Didion adaptation from Dee Rees, a veteran D.C. journalist (Anne Hathaway) loses the thread of her own story when a guilt-propelled errand for her father thrusts her from byline to unwitting subject in the very story she’s trying to break.

A Fall From Grace

In this thriller from Tyler Perry, Grace (Crystal Fox), a disheartened woman restored by a new romance, discovers her relationship is full of secrets, and her vulnerable side quickly turns violent. Phylicia Rashad, Bresha Webb, Cicely Tyson also star.

This film from writer/director Alan Yang tells the story of a Taiwanese factory worker who leaves his homeland to seek opportunity in America, where he struggles to find connection while balancing family & newfound responsibilities.

The Willoughbys

Convinced they’d be better off raising themselves, the Willoughby children hatch a sneaky plan to send their selfish parents on vacation. The siblings then embark on their own high-flying adventure to find the true meaning of family.

The Kissing Booth 2

Elle (Joey King) & Noah (Jacob Elordi) just had the most romantic summer ever, but as he heads off to Harvard Elle juggles a long-distance relationship, college applications with her BFF Lee (Joel Courtney) & friendship with new classmate Marco (Taylor Perez).

Dick Johnson Is Dead

In this inventive portrait, director Kirsten Johnson seeks a way to keep her 86-year-old father alive forever by staging fantasies of death and beyond. Together, dad and daughter confront the great inevitability awaiting us all.

The Platform

In a future dystopia, prisoners housed in vertically stacked cells watch hungrily as food descends from above — feeding the upper tiers, but leaving those below ravenous and radicalized.

Crip Camp

Down the road from Woodstock in the 70s, a revolution blossomed at a ramshackle summer camp for teens with disabilities, transforming their lives & igniting a movement. Directed by Nicole Newnham & Jim LeBrecht, exec produced by President Barack Obama & Michelle Obama.

Spenser Confidential

Mark Wahlberg reteams with director Peter Berg to play an ex-cop, Spenser, who moves in with Hawk (Winston Duke), an aspiring MMA fighter with his own rap sheet. Between gym rounds, the duo’s taunts turn to trust, and they team up to solve a double homicide.

Wagner Moura and Ana de Armas star in this sweeping drama from director Greg Barker. Set in the chaotic aftermath of the US invasion of Iraq, the life of top UN diplomat Sergio Vieira de Mello hangs in the balance during the most treacherous mission of his career.

Over The Moon

Animation icon Glen Keane makes his feature directorial debut in this musical adventure about a girl who builds a rocket ship to travel to the moon in order to prove to her father that a legendary Moon Goddess really exists.

Coffee And Kareem

A Detroit cop reluctantly teams with his girlfriend’s 11-year-old son to clear his name and take down the city’s most ruthless criminal. Ed Helms and Taraji P. Henson star.

The Prom

Ryan Murphy directs this story of a lesbian teenager who’s banned from attending the big dance with her girlfriend. The injustice prompts a cast of Broadway eccentrics to descend on the small Indiana town to fight back. Meryl Streep, James Corden & Nicole Kidman star.

Out Of The Fire

Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) is a fearless black market mercenary with nothing left to lose when his skills are solicited to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord. Action-packed, edge-of-your-seat thriller directed by Sam Hargrave.

Lost Girls

Inspired by true events, from filmmaker Liz Garbus. Police inaction drives Mari Gilbert (Amy Ryan) to investigate the disappearance of her daughter. Mari‘s search of the gated community where Shannan was last seen brings attention to over a dozen murdered sex workers.

AHS Season 10: What To Expect

AHS Season 10

AHS Season 10 is now a full go! But is it the end of the series?

The season finale of American Horror Story: 1984 just aired, and we are already getting prepared for the next season.

If you are an avid MDRN MAG fan you might remember our theories and explanationS article that we put out before 1984 even aired. If you didn’t let us do a quick recap!

Before the season even hit televisions, we predicted that this season would have “sex and lust” as a major theme… And we were right. How did we guess this? Well we have the theory that each of the seasons is a different circle of hell in Dante’s Inferno. And Lust was the only circle left. Which fit the bill of the season perfectly.

We also predicted that season 10 would be the last season of American Horror Story. And “take place” some way in hell, Being the last stop in Dante’s Inferno. Recently some information was released about AHS Season 10 that is making that theory also seem to be true.

Show co-creator Ryan Murphy spoke to Deadline about the upcoming season and said…

We’re working on an idea for season 10 that I think people will love because it’s about reuniting fan-favorite actors to come back – because it might be our last season. It’s the last season we have contracted.

Ryan Murphy

He also said another very interesting and very exciting fact about season 10…

The people who helped build this show into what it is, who believed in it from the beginning, have been contacted and are interested. So if you look at the iconography of the first three seasons, you can figure who I’ve gone to and who might be coming back.

Ryan Murphy

So if we go by that statement we are expecting Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, and Queen Supreme herself Jessica Lange. And when we say expecting that just means they better be in the last season or we riot.

Now, as for the season “theme” or “title,” it’s still up in the air. Murphy stated before that Episode 8 of 1984 would contain a big hint to the next seasons plot… But that could be anything. Luckily an AHS fan account has broke down all the possibilities. (Be sure to click through the thread to see all of the theories!)

If you ask us, they could really play on the “Urban Legends” mixed with hell theme. If they have urban legends and AHS “legends” it would be a clever way to close out the series. (which we are not ready to say goodbye to.)

Granted FOX has the option of ordering new seasons, but with the Disney merger it’s up in the air. Ryan has previously stated that he feels this is a show that can “continue for several more years. Maybe the show will move to Netflix if a FOX contract isn’t drawn up.

Only time will now tell the fate of AHS Season 10 and it’s future! You can be assured that we will keep you all up to date with all the new details. We promise!

YOU Is The Christmas Present For All Of Us

Merry Christmas to all and to all a fright night! Netflix announced that their thriller show YOU will air December 26th.

You season 1 aired on the Lifetime Channel but did not gain popularity until it’s rerelease on Netflix coincidentally also on December 26th of last year. And from there it just blew up!

Ever since we finished binging season 1 we have been dying (ha) to know what will happen to Joe next. Well, we’ll find out after Christmas!

Here’s what we know

It will be a 10 episode season.

A small synopsis: Joe Goldberg goes to Los Angeles, where he meets Love Quinn, an aspiring chef that isn’t into social media like his previous leading lady.

So how are we feeling? Are we ready to spend the rest of our Christmas vacation binging YOU? (The answer is “yes”).

Happy Stranger Things Day! Also known as – Hopper fangirl day.

And if you don’t watch Stranger Things… Thats illegal. The police are on their way.

Today is the perfect excuse to dress up as your favorite character, and not be judged for it. (Please don’t judge us).

Posted to the Stranger Things Twitter account, here’s all the ways you can celebrate today…

And don’t forget to…

  • Head down to your local 7-Eleven and have a cherry slurpee. (Not a strawberry slurpee. There is a difference, Hopper.)
  • Perform your best rendition of “The NeverEnding Story” like Dustin and Susie.
  • Peer pressure the Duffer Brothers into giving us Hopper back in season 4.
  • But whatever you do, do not commence an “Operation Child Endangerment”.
