Which Bird of Prey are you? Huntress? Cass? Black Canary? Detective Rosie Perez? Or the infamous Harley Quinn?
Birds of Prey is finally here! This female ensemble gives us bad-ass bitch vibes. And honestly, it makes us want to have our own action sequence, you know, defeating the bad guys while pump up music is playing.
Now if you’re like us the idea of your own action sequence is cool… But also sounds really tiring and like a lot of work. So instead, we can tell you which Bird of Prey you are, and you can live vicariously through them.

Everyone needs to stop what they’re doing this instant and watch the Morbius trailer.
Morbius is the new Marvel film we can expect from the Sony Marvel Universe (which is not to be confused with the MCU… Which Spider-Man is in). It’s about a doctor that is dying and is trying to cure his rare blood disease… But instead infects himself with vampirism.
In the trailer there are many easter eggs leading back to Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man movies.
Do you see what we see? This puts us post Spider-Man: Far From Home after *SPOILER ALERT* Mysterio tells the world that Peter Parker is Spider-Man and makes him out to be a villain.
Also, like. Vulture is literally in the trailer. That is a direct tie in. So like if Sony could give us Tom Holland, Tom Hardy, and Jared Leto in a movie together? … And then bring them all in a MCU movie together, that’d be great.
As a Marvel stan myself, it’s my theory that Sony/Marvel are creating their rendition on the Sinister Six but only time will tell. Until then you can find us watching this trailer on repeat.

Finally the sequel we have all been waiting for is almost here! A Quiet Place was a huge box office success in 2018. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting a sequel.
Details about the second movie have been kept quiet until this very moment.
From the trailer above, we can tell that it will serve as not only a sequel, but a prequel as well. We’ll see the start of the apocalypse as well as the aftermath of the death of Lee (John Krasinski) and the birth of the new baby.
We see that we’re also being introduced to new civilization and characters portrayed by Djimon Hounsou, Cillian Murphy, and many more!
Catch A Quiet Place 2 playing in a theater near you starting March 20th!
Get your proton packs ready for next summer because the new Ghostbusters trailer has dropped!
Ghostbusters: Afterlife, from what we can see in the trailer, stars Mckenna Grace, Paul Rudd and our Prince of Horror, Finn Wolfhard.
The trailer shows siblings, Pheobe (Grace) and Trevor (Wolfhard), who just moved to a small town that their grandfather used to live in. Long story short weird things started happening. But low and behold the kids found their grandfathers old ghostbusters gear.
From the trailer and what we know it is unclear which of the original ghostbusters the kids are related to, but we do know that Bill Murry is set to appear in the movie along with Sigourney Weaver.
When people watch Elf, do they actually watch it? Do they really pay attention to what’s going on? Or do they just laugh at Buddy the entire time? He’s actually the PERFECT boyfriend.
Here at MDRN Mag, we feel that Buddy doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. Just think about it… He’s so considerate and funny… And Will Ferrell. But that part is beside the point. We have watched this movie about a million times. and each time it becomes more and more clear that we need a Buddy by our side.
He’s open about his feelings.
He’s great at planning dates.
He’s invested in conversation and wants to actually talk to you.
He’s a gentleman and will never swear around you.
He’s literally so supportive.
He really wants to know everything about you.
He tells you the important things.

Taika Watiti‘s newest film, Jojo Rabbit, is the perfect fantasy, comedy, drama, coming-of-age story, I didn’t know how much I needed.
And listen, I’m not a movie critic. I’m just a person with a website who likes to talk about things that I experience. And, this movie was an experience. The movie’s trailers lead me to believe I was simply headed into a comedic satire about a little boy with an imaginary friend who happens to be Adolf Hitler. It’s a crazy concept, of course. I knew it had to be deeper than that. Oh, and it was.
I had high expectations for the film, simply because it had Taika Watiti‘s name on it. This is the man who is responsible for saving the Thorfranchise. And what was once a disaster became one of my favorite films in the Marvel franchise. He is also responsible for the wildly hilarious What We Do in the Shadows.
Taika Watiti has a very unique form of story telling. He has this style that is very human, and it was amazing seeing him go back to his Indie roots for this film. You can tell that he puts his entire heart into his work, and it truly pays off. I was pleasantly surprised by how emotional and thought provoking this story was, all while maintaining a great humor and never going ‘too far’.
At the center of this film we have Roman Griffin Davis in his break out role as Jojo Betzler. This character grew up under Hitler‘s rule, dreaming of one day fighting for his country to make his hero proud. Roman‘s portrayal was amazing, and his comedic timing was perfect. He was even able to hit the emotional beats and sell them so well. The emotional chemistry with his co-star Thomasin McKenzie who played Elsa was also something that just made that film feel that much more real.
I have no doubt this movie will get all the awards it clearly deserves. Since seeing it yesterday, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the messages and themes throughout. Although this movie was based during WWII, this is something that needs to be seen by many. This story of a boy’s misguided fantasy, and faith shows how easy it is for society to be manipulated into hating minorities, religions, and groups of people through propaganda. On the other hand, it also shows that even in a cruel world, compassion, and love are still worth embracing. However, we have to fight and confront the cruelty within ourselves first.
