Morbius Is Here And It Looks Fangtastic

morbius

Everyone needs to stop what they’re doing this instant and watch the Morbius trailer.

Morbius is the new Marvel film we can expect from the Sony Marvel Universe (which is not to be confused with the MCU… Which Spider-Man is in). It’s about a doctor that is dying and is trying to cure his rare blood disease… But instead infects himself with vampirism.

Jared Leto as a vampire?… Sign. Us. Up.

In the trailer there are many easter eggs leading back to Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man movies.

Do you see what we see? This puts us post Spider-Man: Far From Home after *SPOILER ALERT* Mysterio tells the world that Peter Parker is Spider-Man and makes him out to be a villain.

Also, like. Vulture is literally in the trailer. That is a direct tie in. So like if Sony could give us Tom Holland, Tom Hardy, and Jared Leto in a movie together? … And then bring them all in a MCU movie together, that’d be great.

As a Marvel stan myself, it’s my theory that Sony/Marvel are creating their rendition on the Sinister Six but only time will tell. Until then you can find us watching this trailer on repeat.

Let us know what you think of the trailer in the comments down below or on Twitter!

WandaVision Just Got Bumped To A 2020 Release

WandaVision
MARVEL STANS ASSEMBLE!

We already knew that Disney+ was going to really bring it in 2020, but we didn’t realize how hard they were going to go.

Something that fans really anticipate from Disney+ is all of the Marvel shows that we’re going to be getting. Originally in 2020, Disney was just going to release The Falcon & The Winter Soldier. (Which you don’t understand how excited we are for.) And more shows would follow in the next few years. But Disney gave us quite the gift.

In the “What’s Coming to Disney+ in 2020″ trailer below, they announce that WandaVision is now slated for a 2020 release! The show was originally due to come out spring of 2021.

Not much is known about the WandaVision tv show because you know how Marvel is with their secrets. We just want to know what to expect cause… Well… Vision is dead. F*ck you, Thanos.

All we can 100% confirm is that Paul Bettney and Elizabeth Olsen will both be reprising their roles as Vision and Wanda. Other reprisals include Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis (Thor) and Randall Park back as Jimmy Woo (Ant-Man and the Wasp).

So basically, get ready. If you’re Marvel Stans like we are, you are going to be treated real good for the next few years. We’re still due for the Loki Series, What If, and Hawkeye.

Movies To Look Forward To In 2020

2020 is going to be a huge year for the entertainment industry! Music, fashion, TV, and of course, movies! The new year hasn’t even really started yet and we’ve already got an all-star line up of movies that are going to make the next year so memorable!

The Year Of Bad-Ass Women

They said: “Superhero movies but make it bad-ass women.”

Next year it seems we’re getting the dose of Femme Fatal that we crave because our favorite women are back and ready to kick some ass. The first movie to come out of this gorgeous tri-Fecta is Birds Of Prey on February 7th.

Birds Of Prey: And The Fabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn is set to follow Harley Quinn after her break-up with the Joker, which is where the subtitle comes from. This movie has been getting mixed reviews due to the Harley Quinn studded trailers but either way… We’ll be there for the first screening.

March 27th we get one of the most anticipated Disney live action movies, Mulan. Sure there’s no musical number, Shang, or Mushu. But we get to see a kick-ass woman bring honor to her family. We have high hopes.

Black Widow is next to come out on May 1st, and I think it’s safe to say that this is the movie we’ve been waiting for almost 10 years now. If anyone deserves their own stand alone-movie, it’s Natasha Romanoff. Marvel just wanted to twist the knife one more time. Oh and David Harbour is in it.

Wonder Woman 1984 comes out June 9th and we’re ready to see Gal Gadot in her element. She plays Diana with such elegant, poise, and edge, we cannot wait to see what else she brings. And her together with Chris Pine… *Chef’s Kiss*

Horror

Next year we’re getting our spooks in because we’re getting movie after movie. Starting January 3rd with The Grudge.

The Grudge that is set to release is a reboot of the original movies. It stars Harold and Kumar‘s, John Cho. However, this movie will be far from funny. As we can see from the trailer and poster it will feature the iconic shower scene… Which is unsettling enough.

Next, we have The Turning, which comes out January 24th. This movie is a modern take on the book and movie The Turning of The Screw. It stars our generations‘ price of darkness, Finn Wolfhard, along with Mackenzie Davis.

A Quiet Place 2 comes out March 20th, and we’re already holding in our screams. The first movie was a surprise box office smash, so naturally a second one had to be made.

Alas, Halloween Kills is set to release this year. It serves as a direct sequel to the 2018 Halloween movie. Of course, starring queen Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie as she yet again, battles Michael. This time around she gives no fear and is ready to protect her family at all costs. We stan.

Family

There are so many family flicks coming to the big screen next year so get the kiddo’s ready!

RDJ is back in theaters January 17th but this time as Dr. Dolittle. Dolittle takes place in 19th-century England (so he has an accent), having Dolittle and his creature friends on a mission to get a cure for a sickness that the Queen has.

Sonic The Hedgehog is a movie that’s centered around quite the controversy. After being pushed back due to fan backlash to the original design, it’s back and ready for release on Valentines day. Though the new design is 1000% better, people are still hesitant. If you need a reason to go see it, here’s one: Jim Carrey.

Next for release is SCOOB!, which seems to be a quite animation of how Shaggy and Scooby became best friends to them being abducted by aliens. This looks like the cute family film it’s meant to be. We just have one small complaint, and that’s Matthew Lillard isn’t the voice of Shaggy… But we’ll still be there!

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is the next installment in the OG Ghostbusters saga. Featuring (no surprise here) Finn Wolfhard, the amazing Paul Rudd, and up-and-coming star McKenna Grace. July 11th we’ll see Finn and McKenna vs Ghosts. Sign us up!

Action / Adventure

2020 is going to be action packed!

To start the year off right, we get a ‘sequel’ we’ve been waiting for, Bad Boys For Life. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have the ultimate comedic duo chemistry, which is why the first two films did so well. We’re ready for them to come back better and funnier than ever.

The Gentleman which comes out the 24th of January, features a star-studded cast. Matthew McConaughey, Hugh Jackman, Collin Ferrel, Henry Golding, Hugh Grant, and Charlie Hunnam. It’s the British vs Oklahoma of all places.

No Time To Die is the end of a brilliant saga. This is Daniel Craig‘s last go as 007 himself, James Bond. After 15 years, this James Bond story will be over. There’s already talks about the next 007, but let’s get through this hard break up in April first.

Godzilla VS Kong, another fun action-packed battle between 2 giant-sized monsters! Starring Millie Bobby Brown and Alexander Skarsgård, this film will crush it.

Super

As you can tell from the beginning, this is another year for comics!

Morbius is personally one of our highest anticipated films. Jared Leto as a vampire… Yes, please. July 31st cannot come fast enough. All we can think is what if we get both Toms and Jared in one movie together… Wow… Magic.

Even though there are no details yet, according to IMDB the sequel to Venom is set to come out October 2nd! No plot or casting is confirmed yet, but we’re ready and waiting!

The Eternals. When Disney announced this during D23, it’s safe to say that the internet went crazy. With an all-star cast and highly anticipated characters coming to life… November 6th cannot come fast enough.

Comedy

What’s a year without laughter! There’s some new movies coming our way and sequels to legendary movies that we’re not ready for.

April 24th Bad Trip hits theaters! This is basically Eric Andre‘s take on the Jackass movies… But not as intense… Unsuspecting public + pranks + hidden cameras can never go wrong.

Free Guy comes out July 3rd and honestly, just by the trailer we can tell we’ll see this movie like 3 times. This movie looks like a live-action GTA game mixed with Tron and Deadpool. That sounds pretty amazing ngl.

Coming to America, Eddie Murphy is back and we’re living. After his hosting gig at SNL and seeing Dolemite Is My Name, we are more than ready for this comeback August 7th!

On August 21st they’re back and more excellent than ever! Bill & Ted Face The Music is the movie we’ve been waiting 29 years for! The last Bill & Ted movie came out in 1991… So it’s safe to say we’re due for some more Keanu.

Which movies are you most excited for in 2020!? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter!

Jared Leto Turns 48 Today.

There’s people that when you see how old they’re turning you’re just like “Oh okay”. There are some people you’ll say “Ooh damn they’re that young… They look old af…”. And then you have people like Jared Leto…. Where you’re like “WTF WHERE IS YOUR YOUTH FOUNTAIN YOU YOUNG BEAUTIFUL PERSON YOU!?”

Jared turns 48 today and we just don’t understand how this man is pushing 50….

Photo: Dimitrios Kambouris / Getty Images

Like, excuse me sir…. Where? Is he drinking the water from Tuck Everlasting or something.

In case you wanted to see what young Jared looked like… Here’s a personal attack.

Photo: ABC Studios / My So-Called Life

Yeah… We know… My So-Called Life was a show that aired in 1994 that Jared played the swoon-worthy Jordan Catalano… You’ve probably heard that name from your mom. The show only lasted one season… We were barely alive and we’re not over the fact that we were cheated out of more Jordan.

Jared has certainly made a name for himself over the past 48 (still not over that) years that he has existed. From his highly successful music career with his band, 30 Seconds to Mars, to his praised acting career and all of his philanthropic work in between. Jared is a force to be reckoned with.

We don’t care what you think or say about his Joker. We’d do absolutely anything to see those hours of cut footage because… Damn boi.

Jared has been in notorious movies such as Fight Club, American Psycho, Panic Room, Dallas Buyers Club, Blade Runner, and many many more.

In fact, Jared has a very big and important movie coming up and is set to release in 2020. He’ll be playing Dr. Michael Morbius in the movie Morbius.

Now if you don’t know who or what that is, let us explain. Jared Leto will be playing a Spider-Man antihero that is… Ready for this one… A VAMPIRE. Kind of fits his brand, huh? We just know that we need Jared Leto, Tom Hardy, and Tom Holland all in the same movie. And we could possibly get it. WE ARE CROSSING EVERYTHING!

Now before we go we just wanted to leave you with a special treat- uh- behind the scenes picture of Morbius.

Again… He’s 48 years old.

Stan Lee 1 Year Later, We Love Him 3000

Stan Lee

We don’t know about you but we still cannot believe that the great Stan Lee is gone… Let alone has been for a year.

Stan Lee has given us a whole universe that helps us escape hard times. A world full of the most amazing heroes imaginable. But he was the real hero in giving us them.

When he tragically passed, the world was well… Shook. We lost a huge icon that we were in mourning over for months… To be honest we still are in mourning.

Stan Lee

The thought of watching all of the new upcoming Marvel movies without a Stan Lee cameo is physically painful. Sure, there is CGI but it’s honestly not the same.

How can we remember him?

The best way to remember Stan the Man would be, of course, to have a Marvel marathon. Coincidentally Disney+ came out today and it contains many many Marvel titles.

So watch them, feel them, live them, and cry to them. We know we will… Especially Endgame… Because we’re still not over that movie.

So watch the movies, read the comics, and remember the man that gave us this amazing universe. We love Stan 3000.

Top 10 Supernatural Characters Of TV

Spooky season is here and we’re celebrating all our favorite spooky supernatural tv characters, none of which are from the show Supernatrual weirdly…

1. Lucifer Morningstar – Lucifer – Angel / The Devil

TV Show: Lucifer | Actor: Tom Ellis

He’s funny, he dances, he sings, he solves crimes, he saves lives… What’s not to like? If Lucifer was on Tinder, we’d be the first in line to super-like him.

2. Lydia Martin – Banshee

TV Show: Teen Wolf | Actor: Holland Roden

Lydia was one badass banshee. She had the best plans, the best character development storyline, and the best hair too. What’s your secret, Holland?

3. Damon Salvatore – Vampire

TV Show: The Vampire Diaries | Actor: Ian Somerhalder

We’ll forever be grateful to The Vampire Diaries for giving us Damon. Ian Smoulderholder -uh, we mean- Somerhalder… was born to play him. And we were born to be obsessed with him.

4. Klaus Mikaelson – Hybrid

TV Show: The Originals | Actor: Joseph Morgan

We’d like to order a pumpkin spice latte, with a side of Klaus Mikaelson, please. It’s all we want for Halloween. (…and maybe a date with Pennywise too). Literally, just look at that smile. Run us over, it would hurt less.

5. Clary Fairchild – Shadowhunter

TV Show: Shadowhunters | Actor: Katherine McNamara

HELLO, another badass female with great hair. Someone tell us how Katherine McNamara always looks so flawless… it’s for science. If we could be any character on TV, we’d be Clary Fairchild. The chance to battle demons, with angelic powers, and look like that while we’re doing it? Sign. Us. Up.

6. Magnus Bane – Warlock

TV Show: Shadowhunters | Actor: Harry Shum Jr.

HELLO, a badass male with great hair. (Let’s be real, every Shadowhunters character had great hair). Ask us our favorite warlock of all time, the answer will always be Magnus Bane. He was basically the solution to every single problem, ever. Problem: Magnus has the exact same energy as Hotel: Trivago.

7. Roman Godfrey – Upir

TV Show: Hemlock Grove | Actor: Bill Skarsgard

Bill Skarsgård. Bill Skarsgård. Bill Skarsgård. That’s it. That’s why we love Roman so much.

8. Elizabeth Johnson / The Countess – Afflicted

TV Show: American Horror Story | Actor: Lady Gaga

Is there anything Gaga can’t do? Answer: No, she can even pull off being a vampire.

9. Marie Laveau – Voodooist

TV Show: American Horror Story | Actor: Angela Bassett

A queen. We stan a talented queen. We’re also wondering if she might be able to give us her fellow cast-mate Evan Peters‘ phone number?

10. Daisy “Skye” Johnson / Quake – Inhuman

TV Show: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. | Actor: Chloe Bennet

Now, we know what you’re thinking… Daisy is an Inhuman, she isn’t a supernatural character. But Wikipedia says “Supernatural typically refers to unexplained or non-natural forces and phenomena“, and Wikipedia is law, So we’re counting Daisy. She’s basically our favorite female supernatural character ever. Also wondering where we apply to be Chloe Bennet‘s best friend?

Alec and Isabelle Lightwood (Shadowhunters)
Elijah and Freya Mikaelson (The Originals)
