Let’s be honest – Christmas makeup can be stressful. We all want to look like we’re a professional makeup artist, for the photos you know everyone is going to post all over Facebook and Instagram. But deciding what to do with your eyeshadow is hard. So we’re here to save the day and give you all the inspiration, with our favorite eyeshadow looks on Instagram.
Remember – You don’t need to buy the same products listed in the descriptions. Red is red, no matter the palette it comes from.

2 years in the making… Millie Bobby Brown announced Florence By Mills today. This is what she had to say on Instagram…
After watching her play superpowered teen Eleven on StrangerThings, we asked ourselves “Is there anything she CAN’T do?“. Turns out – there isn’t. Because now she’s adding a beauty brand to her glowing list of talents.
When speaking with MMD pre-launch, Millie explained her very deliberate choice for the brand name. Florence By Mills pays homage to her great-grandmother, Florence, combined with her family nickname, Mills.
Not only is the brand ridiculously cute, but its a clean one too (PETA-certified). Posted in 9 photos to the official Florence By Mills page on Instagram – the products are said to be cruelty free and vegan, sulphate free and paraben free! The products are also dermatologically tested, and for ALL skin types. We stan.
Priced between $10 and $34, products include a Zero Chill Face Mask, Swimming Under the Eye Gel Pads, Like a Light Skin Tint, and Cheek Me Later Cream Blush. The product line will be sold both online and in stores at Ulta Beauty and UK-based Boots.
Looking at the website, the launch is due online for August 26th, but Millie is hosting a meet up at the brands first pop up in New York August 25th.
Don’t forget to sign up to the mailing list on the website to keep up to date on all things Florence by Mills.
Beauty guru JeffreeStar finally gave in and handed fans exactly what they were looking for. Long-time supporter of Morphe, Star is now launching his first ever palette with the company. Jeffree has been doing a good job at keeping us always wanting more with every release he’s had scheduled this year; and we’re certain this won’t be the very last of him.
If you’ve been living under a rock, all you need to know is that JeffreeStar is one of the biggest names in beauty and we’re all absolutely obsessed. He owns his own multi-million dollar company, JeffreeStarCosmetics, where he has a range of palettes, highlights, lipsticks, and most recently concealers. The MorpheXJeffreeStar collaboration is very on brand for him, all things pink and holographic.
The Artistry palette features colors that Star has never before created. Jeffree mentions in his reveal video that “there is not one shade in JeffreeStarCosmetics that is in this palette, every single shade is different than anything I’ve done in my own brand. It’s all custom, the formula is beautiful.” Of course there’s an assortment of pinks to choose from, but let’s take a look at some of the colors we’ve never seen in a JSC palette. There’s some new glitters to play with, greens, and oranges.
In the reveal video posted to his YouTube channel, Jeffree swatches each shade on the palm of his hand. The intensity of the shades and how creamy and smooth they glide onto his skin has us digging into our wallets and ready to hand over all of our money. — So when exactly can we do that?
The 30-pan palette is being sold for $35 USD and will be available at your local Ulta and Morphe stores on Aug 13. Alongside the Artistry palette, Morphe will also be releasing an updated version of their setting spray. The bottle is now in two shades of pink — baby and Barbie — and has a strawberry-scented mist. Jeffree has also brought back the beauty sponge trio and created a brand new set of brushes.
Jeffree mentions in the reveal video that his idea to create a palette for Morphe has been a long time coming. Star says, “I really wanted to bring the JeffreeStar experience to a different price point and I could never do that unless I collabed with another brand.” Jeffree’s palettes normally go for anywhere between $45-52 USD.
Any of Jeffree’s fans knew that this collaboration was something that would happen eventually. All we know is that we’re totally obsessed and cant wait to get our hands on these new products!
Beauty guru NikkieTutorials announced her engagement via Instagram post. Her boyfriend, Dylan, popped the question while the two were on vacation in Italy.
While we’re incredibly happy for Nikkie, we’re kind of sad that her last name won’t be Tutorials anymore.
On the bright side, the queen of makeup herself will be delving into bridal makeup. – And she’s gonna save so much money on a makeup artist for her wedding because she can just do it herself. Or not, if she doesn’t want to. (But we’re all secretly hoping for a GRWM Wedding Edition.)
Her ring is unlike any that we’ve seen, and we’re wholeheartedly in love with it – and them! Nikkie’s been posting her fair share of ring pics all over Instagram, and we can’t say we blame her or act like we aren’t totally living for it. Dylan opted for a more Nikkie-esque ring, steering clear from traditional.
The two have been dating for a year, though only made it official on Instagram in January. The 25-year-old shared a short, but sweet, post on Instagram to celebrate her engagement; and the caption says it all.
This post comes shortly after another on the NikkieTutorials Instagram account. Just the day before, Nikkie shared a snap of her and her now fiancé, captioned: “hi just having the best time here in Italy. that’s it. that’s the post.”
We could not be happier for Nikkie, or Dylan, and we wish them the absolute best! May their years together be filled with love, joy, and utter happiness. Congratulations Nikkie!
