We don’t know about you, but we found love in a hopeless and spooky place. Horror movies are supposed to be scary, gory and unsettling. Certainly not the place to fall in love with someone… crazy someones… spooky someones… the hotties of horror…
Oh, but we did.
James Patrick March
Filthy rich, architect, philanthropist with a roaring 20s accent? Yes, please.
Confused, non-aging man from an alternate universe… Yeah, we’ll take him too.
Zombie boy with killer dimples (and motives), just wants to be loved. We gladly volunteer!
One word… Vampire. Our necks are open.
Who cares about his lobster claw-like hands with a gorgeous face like that? Not us.
Pennywise shows you what you fear most… I guess we’re terrified of attractive men dressed up, popping balloons.
Our dearest Tate. Our love, our life. Sure, he’s a bit crazy. But we’re just as crazy… about him.
What do you think about our list? We really nailed it, huh. Let us know what you think of our hotties of horror!
Spooky season is here and we’re celebrating all our favorite spooky supernatural tv characters, none of which are from the show Supernatrual weirdly…
1. Lucifer Morningstar – Lucifer – Angel / The Devil
TV Show: Lucifer | Actor: Tom Ellis
He’s funny, he dances, he sings, he solves crimes, he saves lives… What’s not to like? If Lucifer was on Tinder, we’d be the first in line to super-like him.
2. Lydia Martin – Banshee
TV Show: Teen Wolf | Actor: Holland Roden
Lydia was one badass banshee. She had the best plans, the best character development storyline, and the best hair too. What’s your secret, Holland?
3. Damon Salvatore – Vampire
TV Show: The Vampire Diaries | Actor: Ian Somerhalder
We’ll forever be grateful to The Vampire Diaries for giving us Damon. Ian Smoulderholder -uh, we mean- Somerhalder… was born to play him. And we were born to be obsessed with him.
4. Klaus Mikaelson – Hybrid
TV Show: The Originals | Actor: Joseph Morgan
We’d like to order a pumpkin spice latte, with a side of Klaus Mikaelson, please. It’s all we want for Halloween. (…and maybe a date with Pennywise too). Literally, just look at that smile. Run us over, it would hurt less.
5. Clary Fairchild – Shadowhunter
TV Show: Shadowhunters | Actor: Katherine McNamara
HELLO, another badass female with great hair. Someone tell us how Katherine McNamara always looks so flawless… it’s for science. If we could be any character on TV, we’d be Clary Fairchild. The chance to battle demons, with angelic powers, and look like that while we’re doing it? Sign. Us. Up.
6. Magnus Bane – Warlock
TV Show: Shadowhunters | Actor: Harry Shum Jr.
HELLO, a badass male with great hair. (Let’s be real, every Shadowhunters character had great hair). Ask us our favorite warlock of all time, the answer will always be Magnus Bane. He was basically the solution to every single problem, ever. Problem: Magnus has the exact same energy as Hotel: Trivago.
Bonnie Bennett and Kai Parker (The Vampire Diaries) Sookie Stackhouse and Eric Northman (True Blood) Alec and Isabelle Lightwood (Shadowhunters) Elijah and Freya Mikaelson (The Originals) Sam and Dean Winchester (Supernatural) Tate Langdon (American Horror Story) Scott McCall and Void Stiles (Teen Wolf) Nick Burkhardt and Monroe (Grimm) Hope Mikaelson (Legacies) Bo Dennis (Lost Girl)
Villains is a fun, face-paced, horror-esque comedy that leaves us happy.
We know. That doesn’t sound quite right. It’s definitely a ‘you have to see it, to get it movie.’
Sure, it’s funny. Sure, there are jump scares. But for us what really stands out is the crazy chemistry between Jules (Maika Monroe) and Mickey (Bill Skarsgård).
This movie focuses on a couple that is on the run trying to create a life together, while robbing gas stations. After their car breaks down, they break into a house to steal another car only to find a little girl trapped in the basement.
When the owners of the house come home we learn that they are in fact the villains in the story. They kidnapped the little girl and have… weird… tactics. The story turns into a villains vs villains, cat and mouse story. And ultimately we’re rooting for the robbers.
What is so amazing about this movie is the chemistry. We learn little to no backstory about Mickey and Jules. We just know that they want to make a seashell business in Florida, Jules was in foster care, and they are so madly in love.
The movie has to heavily rely on natural chemistry between the two actors because like we said, that’s really all you know about them; their undying love for each other. It’s the kind of relationship that you find yourself subconsciously smiling at. Those are the ones that are hard to create on-screen. But writer-directors Dan Berk and Robert Olsen nailed it on the head.
Not only is the chemistry between Mikey and Jules electric but the whole cast as well. With just a small cast of 5, they really bring it to the table and give ensemble’s a run for their money.
This movie is definitely a must see. The film is only playing in select theaters in select cities so be sure to look for your local showtimes!
Alas! After a very long two year wait, It Chapter 2, hit theaters! Following the major success of it’s former, the sequel has big (clown) shoes to fill.
No, we’re not going to tell you whether it’s good or bad because it’s all a matter of opinion, right! However, what we are going to do is confuse the f*ck out of you so you can go see it yourself. Because like Pennywise, we’re clowns.
These It Chapter 2 no context spoilers will be sure to keep you afloat until you see the movie.
We hope that we confused you enough that you are now dropping everything you are doing and headed to the closest movie theater.
Tom Holland,Sebastian Stan,Bill Skarsgård, and Robert Pattison are officially announced to star in the heavily anticipated 2020 release of The Devil All the Time. Fans are dying to know what director Antônio Campos has up his sleeve! The cast is pretty impressive, with stars like the above alongside Haley Bennett, Jason Clarke, Mia Wasakowska, and Riley Keough.
The made for Netflix movie will be an adaptation of the novel, written by Donald Ray Pollock. With cinematography by Lol Crawley, we can only be certain that this film will be a masterpiece. Crawley has worked within television and film for years – his earliest project dating back to 2008. Several awards have been won for his work, including an award at the Sundance Film Festival for Excellence in Cinematography. His notable work references Black Mirror’s episode, “Crocodile” (2017), and Coldplay’s 2011 music video, “Charlie Brown.”
The movie, much like the book, will follow a cast of bizarre characters nearing the end of the Second World War, up to the 1960s, throughout southern Ohio and West Virginia. The characters include a disturbed war veteran, a husband and wife pair who turn out to be serial killers, and a false preacher. Tom Holland, who graces us with his adaptation of Marvel’sSpider-Man, takes on the role of Arvin Russell. As the central protagonist; he faces multiple collisions with corruption and destructive impulses – it’s likely Holland will have the most screen time.
Holland plays possibly the most complex character in the film; a good guy at heart, but also not afraid to use physical violence to take revenge on those who wronged him, or someone he cares about. Carrying a lot of emotional trauma and baggage, he will prove himself to be good willed, but a violent man.
In early September 2018 when the film was announced, Tom Holland, Robert Pattison, Chris Evans, Mia Wasikowskam, and Tracy Letts were all in talks to star. Unfortunately for die hard Chris Evans fans, the star dropped out of the film after scheduling conflicts. But, don’t worry, Marvel fans, Evans recommended that Stan take his place in the film. Stan will take on Evans’s role as Lee Bodecker, a corrupt lawman and Sandy Henderson’s (Mia Wasikowska) brother.
The Devil All the Time is due to release via Netflix’s streaming services, while filming began in Birmingham, Alabama. Filming officially started on February 19, 2019 and later concluded on April 15. Randall Poster, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Riva Marker will produce the film. There is currently no official release date for the film.
