Tati Beauty Is Launching A New Product!

tati beauty

Say hello to the Blendiful!

The second product that Tati Beauty will launch, Tati Westbrook announced yesterday on Twitter that something new was coming. But the speculation only grew from there, with a photo the only clue as to what the product was!

Now, we have a full launch video, explaining it all.

This is what Tati had to say about the new product;

This tool is such a necessary item to create a perfect canvas very quickly, and effectively. It’s great for touchups, its hygenic, you can wash it, it’s so many things. And the design in it is flexible, and plyable, and blendible, and bendy enough, that youre not going to look at it and not know what to do.

Tati also explains her aim with the product was to make it large enough to cover every step of your makeup routine; primer foundation, concealer, powder, contour, and more. Along with a smaller puff for on-the-go. Tati also compared the smoothness of the application to expert cake-icers. We trust her. We believe it.

The Blendible is priced at $18 for both the large and smaller puff.

We can also expect to see a video soon of Tati applying her whole face using the puff. As if we need it. We’re buying it anyway.

Additionally, Tati said her much sought-after Textured Neutrals Volume 1 palette was restocking tomorrow too! HI, OUR CREDIT CARDS ARE READY. Check out the video above to get the full rundown.

You can buy both products on the Tati Beauty website from 10am PST tomorrow.

Forever 21 Isn’t Forever Anymore

forever-21

Time to grab all the gift cards you forgot about, Forever 21 is going bankrupt.

Oh, Forever 21… Reasonably priced, reasonably cute, and probably where you spent most of your teen years shopping. Well, according to CNN it’s now going bankrupt. Having 800 stores in 57 countries, we thought all was well in the retail clothing world… We thought very wrong.

The company has yet to speak on the issue, but we need to hear something ASAP. We need to know if we have to get our running shoes ready to go for an β€˜Everything Must Go’ sale.

Since the unofficial announcement of the bankruptcy, customers of the store have mixed feelings about the reported shutdown, and as all millennials do… They went to Twitter.

Well, now we know that nothing truly lasts Forever (21). And, as a result, retail therapy will never be the same again, and we’re not sure if we’ll ever get over this one. Join us in mourning the potential demise of our favorite shop!

The Morphe X Jeffree Star Palette is Almost Here

Beauty guru Jeffree Star finally gave in and handed fans exactly what they were looking for. Long-time supporter of Morphe, Star is now launching his first ever palette with the company. Jeffree has been doing a good job at keeping us always wanting more with every release he’s had scheduled this year; and we’re certain this won’t be the very last of him.

If you’ve been living under a rock, all you need to know is that Jeffree Star is one of the biggest names in beauty and we’re all absolutely obsessed. He owns his own multi-million dollar company, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, where he has a range of palettes, highlights, lipsticks, and most recently concealers. The Morphe X Jeffree Star collaboration is very on brand for him, all things pink and holographic.

The Artistry palette features colors that Star has never before created. Jeffree mentions in his reveal video that “there is not one shade in Jeffree Star Cosmetics that is in this palette, every single shade is different than anything I’ve done in my own brand. It’s all custom, the formula is beautiful.” Of course there’s an assortment of pinks to choose from, but let’s take a look at some of the colors we’ve never seen in a JSC palette. There’s some new glitters to play with, greens, and oranges.

The Reveal

In the reveal video posted to his YouTube channel, Jeffree swatches each shade on the palm of his hand. The intensity of the shades and how creamy and smooth they glide onto his skin has us digging into our wallets and ready to hand over all of our money. — So when exactly can we do that?

The 30-pan palette is being sold for $35 USD and will be available at your local Ulta and Morphe stores on Aug 13. Alongside the Artistry palette, Morphe will also be releasing an updated version of their setting spray. The bottle is now in two shades of pink — baby and Barbie — and has a strawberry-scented mist. Jeffree has also brought back the beauty sponge trio and created a brand new set of brushes.

Jeffree mentions in the reveal video that his idea to create a palette for Morphe has been a long time coming. Star says, “I really wanted to bring the Jeffree Star experience to a different price point and I could never do that unless I collabed with another brand.” Jeffree’s palettes normally go for anywhere between $45-52 USD.

Any of Jeffree’s fans knew that this collaboration was something that would happen eventually. All we know is that we’re totally obsessed and cant wait to get our hands on these new products!

Festival Essentials: What You DO and DON’T Need

Going to a festival soon, and not sure what to bring? We’ve got you covered. Keep reading for a breakdown of all your festival essentials.

THE ESSENTIALS

Your ticket: DUH

Money (cash and cards): Because capitalism is still a thing and nothing is free.

A tent: Weather is a thing that exists.

A sleeping bag: Hypothermia is not a myth.

A roll mat: You’re worth it. And they’re lighter than an air bed.

A blanket: To cover up while you make a quick dash for the bathroom in the middle of the night. Could also double as a cape if you decide to have a fashion show.

Re-useable water bottle: Save the planet. And carry out alcohol at the same time.

Phone: How else are you going to get photos of you doing drunk stuff to post on Instagram later?

Portable charger (or 5): How else are you going to keep your phone charged, so you can get photos of you doing drunk stuff to post to Instagram later?

Torch: I promise you when you’re trying to find your tent in the dark at 3am, they WILL all look the same. A head-torch would also be useful so you can have your phone for selfies in one hand, and alcohol in the other.

Bin bags: Who wants to pack their muddy clothes and raincoats in with everything else.

A guitar: Everyone needs an instrument for a campfire sing along.

CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES

Wellies: When the heavens open up and rain down from above, you don’t want to find yourself dredging though a sea of mud, running a pair of trainers you bought because you thought they would look ‘cute on Instagram’.

Welly Socks: Pack more of these than packs of glitter. Welly rub is not your friend. And you can be sure it’ll be even worse if it rains. Cover a distance higher than your wellies – and you can dance all night long.

Underwear: Heres hoping I don’t need to explain why…

Clothes to wear: Again hoping I don’t need to explain why…

Waterproof Coat: WITH a hood. Otherwise its just a cute jacket.

Sunglasses: If the sun does decide to grace you with its presence, its helpful to be able to see in front of you. If you’re squinting, you might face plant the mud in front of you.

Hat: The quirkier the better, its easier for your friends to find you when you inevitably get lost if your hat is a bit silly.

Ear Plugs: There’s always someone who snores louder than you thought was possible.

Eye-Mask: If you’re at a festival in the summer, it starts to get light at a ridiculous hour, and if you’re ready to go to sleep before that, you’re not living your best festival life.

FOOD AND DRINK

Coffee: “But first, coffee”.

Alcohol: Because festival alcohol is expensive. And probably not available at 6am.

Food: Because Β£/$12 for a burger is daylight robbery. Pot noodles are cheap if you have cooking facilities you can take (BBQ, gas fire).

WAYS TO STAY CLEAN

Toilet-Roll: DUH.

Deodorant: Smelling good is better than smelling bad.

Hand sanitiser: You’ll regret it if you don’t.

Sunscreen: Sunburn is not a myth.

Towel: How else are you going to dry off after a shower or a morning sink wash?

Toothbrush and Toothpaste: Nothing is worse than your friend having to tell you that you have bad breath.

Dry Shampoo: There’s only so much greasy hair you can cover with glitter.

FIRST AID

Medication: You may want to check with the festival before hand on what their medication policy is. Be prepared to bring proof with you for your bag check.

Others: Plasters, after-sun cream, antiseptic cream, burn stuff, condoms.

WHAT NOT TO BRING

Many items are prohibited, and these can vary festival by festival. Do your research before hand so you don’t get stuck with a gazebo or gas fire you can’t dispose of. Later equipment, animals (unless guide dogs), speakers, fireworks, professional filming equipment, drones, and more may also be prohibited. Check with the festival before you travel, and be prepared to be searched on arrival.
