Halloween Cinema: Episodes of Childhood Shows

It’s coming up on the best time of year, Halloween!

Remember when you were a kid during Halloween time? Your favorite TV Shows would have Halloween themed episodes that changed your life.

So grab some friends, and get ready for some spooky nostalgia. MDRN MAG proudly presents, Halloween Cinema: Episodes of Childhood Shows.

SpongeBob SquarePants “Scaredy Pants”

Here we have Spongebob being scared of a door closing… it’s literally us after a scary movie. This is also the beginning of the legendary Flying Dutchman story.

That’s So Raven “Don’t Have A Cow”

Raven and Chelsea want to get invited to a Halloween party so bad that they use an old spell book to help… And they turn into cows… This low-key traumatized us as kids.

Phil of the Future “Halloween”

Honestly this episode made us extremely uncomfortable with the whole cupcake eating fiasco. Also there was no Evan Peters in the episode to save us.

Lizzie McGuire “Night of the Day of the Dead”

Bad things happened when Kate disrespected the dead. One of them being Lizzie jumping on the 2019 bandwagon of clowns.

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody “The Ghost in Suite 613”

With this spook inducing prank on Zack (and us), we finally see the real ghost in suite 613. But let’s be real, we still hear Esteban saying “they’re here” in our nightmares.

iCarly “IScream on Halloween”

Sure, it was funny watching the gang do the webcast from a ‘haunted’ apartment. But the best part was watching Spencer give out the most random objects to kids.

Courage the Cowardly Dog (Any Episode)

Looking back, with this being my (Jace) favorite cartoon, it really said a lot about my future, obsessed with al things creepy and weird. Because that’s exactly what this show was. Watching it now, it seems pretty traumatizing for a kid to watch, let alone love…
