Nightmare Before Christmas: It’s Been Halloween For 26 Years

On this day, 26 years ago, we were all welcomed to Halloween Town with the grandest of parades, and we were declared royal subjects of Jack Skellington, The Pumpkin King.

For 26 years, The Nightmare Before Christmas has been the staple movie in millions of households, on both Halloween and Christmas. It has been a part of different generations and has been passed down from parent to child.

Jack & Sally are known for being one of those epic loves that people strive for. Both love each other despite being broken, weird, different (…and dead). They build each other up and accept one another. Pair that with bomb-ass musical numbers and a bit of spookiness, you get possibly the greatest movie of all time.

This movie is still so relevant that Vans created a whole Nightmare Before Christmas line of shoes. And we are dying to get them! Just look at them!

So what do you think? Is it absolutely iconic? Or do you think it’s overrated? If you do you’re one of… well… one. It’s literally the greatest movie of all time. And we will fight anyone on that statement.
